It all began in April 2016 when I had a near death experience, resulting in an intense supernatural awakening, after which I can truly say, God is real. Jesus is real. The afterlife is real. Neither I nor my life would ever be the same.
Soon after that event, I got plunged into what is referred to in Psalm 23 as "the valley of the shadow of death," where I experienced the dark night of the soul.
Nearly everything around me was falling apart as I traversed this dark death valley, but it was my job, my relationships, and my health that took the biggest hit.
This downturn in life seemed odd to me because usually, from what I've read about other people's stories, these types of personal near-death experiences result in a newfound joy and revelation.
Not for me. I was in a pit of hell and it was not until many years later that I would discover that I had been under witchcraft attack the whole time, even dating back many years before. Regardless of what I didn't know, what I DID know was that there was only one way out - to surrender and give it all to God.
While I had been sent some of the worst death magic, Romans 8:28 informs us what God does with the things that are meant to harm us - He turns it all into our GOOD! Praise God! I suddenly had a deep desire to study and learn Scripture, to learn about the spiritual principles and instructions that are gifted to us, to renew my mind in Christ, and to know God on an intimate level. But it wasn't easy.
As a result of the dark magic done against me, I was in physical and spiritual isolation, what I now call my incubation period. But instead of giving up on myself (which is what the intention of the witchcraft was), I prayed, studied, wrote, and developed a deep and intimate connection with God that both strengthened and humbled me. I felt not just ready - but compelled to renew my mind and claim my identity and life in Jesus Christ. Praise God! Talk about a turn of events, right?
Since then, I've been writing and praying my way through the wilderness and the darkness of isolation and have kept records of my reflections and prayers during this time, as well as my direct experiences with God's eternal and living word guiding my way.
Giving everything over to God was not an easy path to take up at the time. I had no idea what I was getting into, how much there was to learn, how much I didn't know, and how much God would show me.
Just to give you an idea - I was in my 40s, had barely read the Bible in my entire life, and had no idea which books were from the Old Testament and which were from the New Testament. There were many books I'd never even heard of before. But I was determined to learn God's word as well as my purpose for His Kingdom because I could feel that this was where He was leading me.
I still had no idea the extent of spiritual warfare that I was up against, nor how much more I would face as I took on this path. But I learned that even the battles can be beautiful when you know God is in them with you.
Throughout this traumatic period, God spoke to me many times: I Am teaching you, fighting with you, and fighting for you. Do not be afraid.
When I began my personal spiritual development, I found that there really is no end in sight. That, in my opinion, is the beauty of the spiritual path.
When I got started and had no idea what I was doing, I received a lot of help from several faith-based resources when I needed it most and was encouraged by God's promises and the strength that we all have in Him. I set out to learn as much as I could. The more I learned, the more I knew I wanted not only something more but something greater. I wanted to be enlightened in my walk with God. I could feel deep in my soul that I was meant to understand more and on a deeper level than what was currently available to me. Mind you, I had no idea that I was under witchcraft attack at the time, but I knew something was seriously wrong. I just didn't know what. But I knew God was the way out.
From that point, I embarked on my own individual path asking God, together with the Holy Spirit, to guide me to the wisdom I was ready for and needed for the higher level I wanted to get to. Not only did this really happen, but God never gave me more than what I could handle and understand at the time, which depended on the condition of my vessel, i.e. how much was I able to contain. This was so important for me to understand. Even though I had the deep desire to learn as much as possible, I could only be given the wisdom I was able to receive according to my level of consciousness.
I had many questions. Why is the world the way it is? Why do people hurt us? How should we respond to those who commit physical and spiritual crimes against us? What should we do with the evils of the world that we are susceptible to? Why do good people suffer from alcohol, drug, sexual, physical, mental, and emotional abuse? Is God in all of this?
What I learned is that not only is God real, but so is the enemy. Once I had grown in my wisdom and humility, this is when God revealed the truth - that I had been under witchcraft attacks for many years. I even know who was behind it. More importantly, so does He.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
It's an honor for me to finally be able to step out in faith with my mind, body, and spirit in tact and share my story and thoughts on this journey with all my heart and soul. I've always believed that our challenges are our testimony, and I hope that the experiences I share can help shine a light on the path to Jesus Christ, even through the darkness.
As I continue to be led on my spiritual path, I will never disclose personal information about the attackers because they don't matter. God will deal with them as He says so throughout His word. And that's good enough for me.
However, I do expose narcissism and discuss the demons behind these things like jealousy, envy, egomania, and other aspects of spiritual poverty that can cause people to become physical and spiritual criminals and take such a dark and destructive road in their life, harming themselves and others in the spirit realm. I also shine light on how not to become a target. (Hint: Love Yourself, Queen!)
I hope that through writing and speaking about my own spiritual battles and experiences I can help guide others on their journey toward, as well as get through, this life with God.
As we read in Ecclesiastes 8:1, "To everything there is a season...," and there is a feeling deep within my spirit that says this is the season to share my journey of the last several years.
The most painful part of my intimate path with God has been the dissolution of the ego and to be born again in the Spirit. In order to connect with the Divine and our own divine nature, our ego must be lowered, and we must humble ourselves before the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth.
This is not only necessary, but ongoing, as we operate in the flesh as human beings. When your eyes become open as to how much of your life is built on sand, you have no choice but to surrender, if you truly want God's best for you.
As we connect to the Divine, and the Divine in ourselves, the ego (lower self) will fight to survive in matters of control, pain, mindset, etc. This is probably the hardest work we could take on. I'm here to say that yes, it is painful, and yes, it's possible - I'm proof!
I found that there's an unexpected irony in this journey -- the closer we get to God and the Truth, the more difficult things become, and the greater the spiritual attacks. I can attest that embarking on a path to being true to who I am while strengthen my relationship with the Lord has been the most difficult thing I've ever done, but also the most rewarding.
But thankfully I am still here - thriving, evolving, and called to begin this ministry and to share my story for God's glory.
As mentioned above, Romans 8:28 says that God takes everything that was meant to harm us and turns it into our good for those who love Him. My being at this point today is an embodiment of this verse. While witchcraft was getting the best of my health, career, relationships, and everything else that was falling apart without cause or explanation, it was all bringing me closer to God.
I continue to search for God's meaning and understanding in so many things every day, and I'm amazed and humbled at what I continue to learn.
Life can certainly take us by surprise. If someone had told me even a few years ago that I would be doing this, I would have given them a blank stare. "A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the LORD directs his steps and establishes them." (Proverbs 16:9).
The key is to press on through and not give up. There will be times when it's really dark and you think you're not making progress, but I assure you that as long as you're in communion with God, you are making progress.
I am so grateful for God's grace upon grace on my life. He was taking care of me and working in me through it all. My story for His glory.
Finally, I want to thank you, again, for being here and for being part of this community of spiritual warriors! I have come to believe that there is a divine reason for going through trials and tribulations in life, even witchcraft, and I believe that those of us who do go through these difficulties are being prepared for something greater. So get ready, and let not your heart be troubled.
Perhaps we were born for such a time as this. (Esther 4:14)👸💛👑
